Pan West EDP meeting, and awards for volunteering, innovation,
and staff service
The Community Futures Pan West EDP group met
in Regina in the fall of 2008 to look at initiatives and best
practices for the 11 organizations that deliver the Entrepreneurs
with Disabilities Program in rural and urban Western Canada.
Volunteer of the Year
Sharon Lee Smith, Assistant Deputy Minister of Western Economic
Diversification, Saskatchewan presents the award to the Saskatchewan,
2007- 2008 Volunteer of the Year Paul Trottier, from Community
Futures Visions North in La Ronge.
Award for Innovation
Rhonda Laing, Manager of
Community Economic Development at Western Economic Diversification,
Saskatchewan presents the Minister's Award for Innovation to Chantelle
Ernst, General Manager, Community Futures Sunrise for CF Sunrise's
YouthBiz E-show project for young people in the Weyburn region.
10 Year Staff Service
Award
Codie Prevost, Community Futures spokesperson and Saskatchewan
based country entertainer presents Cindy Reaume with her 10 year
Community Futures Staff Service Award at recent Christmas celebrations
in Tisdale. Community Futures Newsask Manager, Judy Childs, looks
