CFS Annual Awards Night & Gala

On October 17th, 2011, CFS held the Annual Awards Night & Gala again at the Sheraton Hotel, in the beautiful Top of the Inn in Saskatoon! It was quite the evening, full of special guests, includng Chuck Bean from BaxterBean in Calgary, Victoria Lennox from Ottawa who is the champion and energy behind StartUp Canada!

Growing Saskatchewan 2011, held again this year in Saskatoon, was another huge success! This year the event was held in at the Radisson Hotel on October 18th and 19th. The conference is still being tagged as the premier event for economic development practitioners across the province. And once again, it lived up to the hype. This year's Saskatchewan Community Futures Conference in late October took on a decidedly British flavour as 007 James Bond, was celebrated with tongue firmly in cheek. With gusto, the Community Futures offices embraced the theme and turned up in costume at the Annual Gala.

Outlook Celebrates 10 Years

CF Midsask/REDA celebrated its 10th anniversary this November with a supper at one its economic development partners at the Dakota Dunes Casino. About 100 former board members, staff, municipal partners, WD and provincial representatives enjoyed supper and comraderie in one of the new Casino's entertainment rooms.
At the National EDAC Conference September 15-17, 2007, in Saskatoon, Bill Matlock, Chair of Community Futures Saskatchewan presented long time Association Board Member, Celine Favreau of CF Newsask, with a putter and golf balls to commemorate her 10 years + of service to the organization.
